At the Court at Windsor the 3rd day of November, 1865. PRESENT: The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty; Duke of Somerset, Earl of Clarendon, Earl Russell. HEREAS the Lieutenant Governor of Her Majesty’s. Island of Prince Edward, with the Council and Assembly of the said Island, did in the month of April, 1665, pass 'Iivcnty-thrce Acts, which have been transmitted, entitled as follows, viz:— No. 1189 “ An Act in further amendment of the Act to incoru porate the Royal Agricultural Society of Prince Edward Island.” No. 1190 “ An Act to assist Leaseholders in the purchase of the Fee-simple of their Farms.” No. 1191 “ An Act in amendment of the Law and the better advancement of Justice." No. 1192 “ An Act in addition to, and in further amendment of the Land Purchase Act.” No. 1193 “ An Act in further amendment of the Laws regula- ting the sale by license of Spirituous Liquors.”
No; 1194 “ An Act to amend the Act to promote Vaceination.”
No. 1195 “ An Act to amend the Act for constituting Boards of Health.”
No. 1196 “ An Act to regulate the salaries of the Collectors of
Impost and Excise, for the Districts of Bedeque and Georgetown."
No. 1198. “ An Act to repeal the Act relating to the Oyster Fisheries in this Island, and to make other provisions in lieu thereof.”
No. 1199 “An Act to amend the Law of Real Property.”
No. 1200 “ An Act to authorize the appointment ofHog Reeves in certain districts in this Island, and to prevent the going at. large of Swine within the same.”
No. 120 , ," An Act to alter the time for holding certain terms of the Supreme Court, in the several Counties in this Island.”
No. 1202 “An Act to amend the Act intituled An Act to repeal an Act made and passed in the 21st year of the Reign of King George the Third, intituled An Act relating to Wills, Legacies and Executors, and for the Settlement and distribution of the Estates of Intestates.”
No. 1204 “ An Act for regulating the inspection of Pickled Fish for exportation trom this Island.”
No. 1205 “ An Act in amendment of the Act regulating the inspection of Pickled Fish for carportation from this Island.”
No. 1206 “An Act to amend the Act for the establishment of a. Bank at Savings in Prince Edward Island.” I.
No. 1207 “ An Act to amend the Act of 26th Victoria, Cap. 4, incorporating the Union Bank of Prince Edward Island.”
No. 1208 “ An Act for the appointment of Clerns to Justices of the Peace, and to regulate proceedings had before them.”
No. 12Y0 “ An Act to amend the Law respecting Defamatory Words and Libel.” No. 12” “An Act to incorporate the Minister and Trustees of
the Presbyterian Congregation, of Woodville and Little Sands. Townships Nos. Sixty-two and Sixty—four.”
No. 1212 “An Act for appropriating certain moneys therein mentioned, for the service of the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty five.”
No. 1213 “ An Act. to continue the Act of the Wet year of the reign ot ller present Majesty, intitulcd ‘ An Act to continue for certain purposes the Seduction Act, and to make other provisions in lieu thereof, as regards all future actions.”
No. 1214 Court in the City of Charlottetown.”
And whereas the said Acts have been laid before Her Majesty in Council, together with a letter to the Lord President oi the Council, from the Ilight llomirable Edward Cardwcll, one oi'llor Majesty’s principal Secretaries of State, TCCtllllllll‘llilillg that the said Acts should be lelt to their operation: Her Majesty wasthorc- upon this day plea~ed, by and with the adviCe of Her Privy Council, to approve the said recommendation. 1EALED TENDERS will be received at this Office, until 12 o’clock, noon, on SA'I‘UADAY. the 30th day of DECEMBER, inst., from any person or persons being willing to contract to sup- ply Pi'lINCE COUNTY JAIL, at :t. Eleanor's, and KING'S COUNTY JAIL, at Georgetown, severally, from the lst day of January. 1806, to the 31st December, 1866, inclusive, with the followingarticles, the same to be delivered at each Jail, respective- ly, at the cost of the contractor, and in such quantity or quantities as shall, from time to time, be demanded and required. viz:—
IIard and Soft Bread, Molasses. Oatmeal, Seal Oil and (30rd \Voud.
All these articles are required to be of the best quality. The Wood to be four feet long, and to be piled in the respective Jail Yards. six feet high, at the expense of the contractor, and Consist of Black and Yellow Birch, Beech and Maple. No crooked or rotton wood will be taken.
Tenders must expross the price per pound, gallon and Cord, in the currency of this Island. and be accompanied by the names of two sufficient securities for the performance of the contract.
