Council Office, MAY 7th, 1867. EEIS Excellency the Lieutenant Governor in Council was

this day pleased to fix and determine the rate at which the amount of the IllVUlcU ot' Dutinble Goods, imported into this Island from the United States of America, shall, in estimating the duties payable thereon, be reduced into current money of the Island, as follows :—

In all cases where each Invoices shall be made out in Dollars and Centsofthe paper currency of the United States, the amount of such Inmice shall he reduced into current money of this Island, by allowing for each Dollar the sum of FOUR SHILLINGS AND SIX-FENCE, and in the like proportion for any fraction of a Dol- or; of which all Collectors of Impost are to take notice and got'ern
