"Service to blind Canadians ii; an investment in the human re- sources of our Country", said Mr. W. G. Foster, Chairman of the Prince Edward Island Advisory Board to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. today. The Advisory Board is opening the present campaign in Prince Ed- ward Island on October 22nd to raise the funds needed by the C.N. I. B. to continue its service IA) the blind people of this district.

Donald Nicholson united in marriage Catherine Audrey. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett MscI.eod. Clyde Station. and Garfield. son of Mrs Lottie and the late James Cummings Vernon River.

The bride. who was marriage by her father, light fitting gown of nylon net. with bouffant. skirt over which was a coat of Chantilly lace. Her bridal veil of French illusion. elbow length. flowed from s Juliet cap. She carried a bouquet of Better Time roses. -

Her sister, Mrs nrl Paquet. as matron of honour. wore a gown of rust satin with tight fitting jacket buttoned to the neck. Her bouquet was Talisman mses.

Cheryl Paquet, nelce of the bride, as flower girl. were a green taffeta dress and carried s nose- gsy of flowers.

The bride's mother was becom- ingly attired in new sheer with new and white accessories. Her oorsage was of pink roses. The groom's mother was unavoidably absent.

The best. man was Mr. Melville Horne and the ushers were Mr. Em-I Pnquet. and Mr. Den Cum- mings.

Miss Audrey Gillls was organist and Miss Joyce Nicholson sang during the signing of the register.

Following the ceremony, a re- ception for about 45 guests was held at the Charlottetown I-Iotcl. Immediately following the re- ception the happy couple left on a trip through the Maritime Prov- inces. For travelling the bride chose a hclgc suit with brown accessories. she canried a brown checked coat. and wore a corsagc of pink roses.
