She was one endowed with a friendly and happy disposition and was highly esteemed by all, who knew her. Visitors to her

She greatly enjoyed the company, of friends and relatives. for she was a per-‘ son of a sunny and humorous nature. She was a kind and thoughtful neighbor, ever ready to help in case of sickness or distress. ~ ‘ . in good health at that time was unable to attend personally to her Mother’s needs, so had he: placed under the care 'of Mrs. Percy MacDonald in her home at Churchill, where she was kindly and carefully waited upon and attended to in her needs. She was bedlfast for the- last year, but bore up under increasing weakness with Christian patience and Cheerfulness. At such a time she delighted to receive visits

She leaves to mourn a daugh- ter Blanche, (Mrs. Geonge Oar- son), Bonshaw, V daughter, Eleanor Carson, who is presently in the employ of the Royal Bank in Charlottetown. She also leaves two sisters: Lucy (Mrs. Neil MacEachern), Long Creek and ,Letltia (Mrs. Geo. Macanhern). Mt. Herbert. Two brothers predeceased her, name- ly, Albert A., Argyle Shore. and Dr. Andrew, Western Canada. V

She was laid to rest in Argyle Shore Cemetery, beside her late husband who had predeceased her 18 years ago. *

Mrs. Beatrice MacFayden is ‘ still alpatient in P.C. Hospital. she ‘ observed her 79th birthday Thursday 19th. . Pupils of English School, held their closing on Friday June 20th. Several parents attend- ed and the teacher presented gifts to each pupil.
