A feature of the Provincial Rifle meet- ing at Kensington Range yesterday was the large number of ladies present,The Ex- ecutive Committee of the Soldiers’ Wives’ League gave afternoon tea which hospit- ality was shared bya distinguished party including His Honor, the Lieutenant Governor, the loeal Militia officers,Mr Mc- Donald of Dalvay and party, Col. Orr and party. His Honor,the Lieut, Governor presented the prizes.

In the Ladies’ Challenge Cup match Segt. Major O. N. Baird won the cup with 49 points out of 50, This beingthe second time this cup nas been won for Mrs. G. W. Howlan, it becomes her property.
