pur Annual PIC NIC of the IRISH ™ VOLUNTEERS will take place on WE D- NES DAY, the 2d AUGUST next, at WARREN FARM, which has been kindly given for the occa- sion. The Steamer HEATHER BELLE will leave Pope’s Wharf at 9 and J1 o'clock, punctually, cou- Veying the party to and from the yrounds. ~ :

The Volunteer Band will be in attendance, and the best Violinists have been engaged. .

The Committee feel satistied that, with the ex- cellent arrangements which-are being made, they will be xble to please their numerous guests, by enlivening the day's proceedings with different amusing games, &c. They will offer prizes for the foliowing :

liish Reel, Scotch Reel, Waltzing Quadrille, Foot Races (400 yards), Sack Races, Jumping, Throwing the Stene, &c, to which a small entrance fee will be charged Parties wishing to compete - these games will leave their names with the Clerk.
