He was,in the early days of volunteering, a member of the St. John City Rifle Battalion. Curious to know if he could shoot as in former days, he took a turn at the Kensington Range, this morning. After a little preliminary practice, he commenced scoring at 400 yards, with the following re- sults : Sighting shot 3, scoring shots—5, 5, 5, 5, 5-26. At 600 yards—sighting shot 5, scoring shots,—5, 4, 5, 5, 0, 5—24 in six shots, Mr Cuming is evidently still in good form.
