were exciting 1 for a large gallery of tennis enthusiasts who turned out to witness the play. as did many other of the thirteen matches that were run off in week- end tournament competitions. Tournament play in remaining doubles events will be continued this evening when some eight matches in men's and ladies doub- les and mixed doubles will be held. The finals in these events are ex- pected to wind up the Provincial Closed Tournament on Wednesday.
