"I wish to congratulate your Rev- erend pastor Father Bovaln and the organization which he has per- fected to make this day the suc- cess which it should be. I wish to especially congratulate the ladies of the parish for the very fine dis- play of cakes and other food which they have provided. I know full

to the years of his pastorate, was a very successful one, and we have visions of him travelling w and from his many other Acndian mis- sions all through Prince County on horseback in all kinds of wea- ther. l-Ie was one of the hardy pioneers of the Catholic Church and his work was particularly de- voted w the French Acadians oi his flock, and before he passed away he arranged that whatever money he had would be used solely for education purposes. I know of several Acadians who have been assisted through College through his thoughtful generosity.
