As of now Father Megan- nety is going through the usual hassles of getting things started. He will be holding Mass at 11:30a.m., Monday through Friday, in the chapel. The chapel is in the basement of the music building, and is beside the cafeteria. Sunday Mass times are still a question mark. Father Megannety ' would like to know if any musician is interested in playing guitar or any other instrument at these services. He feels music would make the mass a real celebration.

U.P.E.I. Jocks Not Getting ' IT '

This reporter has it from usually reliable sources that jocks at U.P.E.I. are not getting enough of IT, assuming the veracity of the old maxim that only those who are not getting IT talk excessively of IT. Although it would be easy to attribute such overheard dinnertime conversations, as this article is based on, to the regular administration of salt peter in cafeteria .food, surely the answer lies deeper.

While this will doubt— lessly improve their vali- ant efforts for various Pan— ther squads, (and for this, each and every student must' be eternally grateful), there are those of us who are concerned about the whole person. However, even we concerned individuals feel that the most suitable lo— cation for our valiant jocks to make known the ex—‘ tent of their sacrifices, and we humbly suggest so; is, in lieu of cold showers, our heroes must take the matter entirely in their own hands

.By way of introduction, my name is Rick Huyck a sen— ior Physics major. I am currently holding office as your Communications Officer.

Last year when running for C.0. I promised a Huyck (Hike) in Communications and I believe with your support we can accomplish this very Inecessary item.

I would like to offer my serViceS and time for those who would like to express opinions about the Univer- sity (including S.U.) pol— icies. We have the power ‘and the right to be heard. Nuff said.

This year I will be sup- porting the Cadre and CIMN. If anyone wOuld like any in- formation about these two organizations, or would just like to express some com- plaints or compliments, please feel free to contact me.

I also hope to be in— volved with an Evaluation Committee, which will be producing, the so far myth- ical, Anti-Calendar. I also plan to be publishing a Stu- dent Directory. Hope to see you soon.

White could have captured the Black knight at move two, hoping to entice Black into taking the rook at rook 1, in which case White wins.i.e. RxPch. If Black declines and takes the rook at bishop 6, White faces extinction.
