CANADIAN HOME ECCNOMICS ASSOCIATION

'Jhere are four scholar— ships being offered to graduate students in Home economics. Come on in and check: up on them._

'IHE IDRD BEAVERBROOK SCHOLARSHIPS IN LAW 'Ienable at the Faculty of Law, University of New Brunswick. Candidate must be a Canadian citizen, and at the time of admission to, the Faculty of Law

(not necessarily at the titre of applying for the Scholarship) must have a B.A., B.SC. , B.B.A. , B. Ccmn. or' equivalent degree

from a recognized university . or must have completed the

equivalent of ' three years

of full—time study leading to a degree at a recognized university.

HOCKEY CANADA SCHOLARSHIP In order for the student to be eligible for Hodcey Canada's bursary he must have passing grades,

attend a Canadian university

and play for the varsity hodsey team at the university he attends.

First year university is awarded $1,200, second $700, third $500 and fourth $400. , Each catmunity college is entitled to $300.

Imere are no funds available to graduate students.

the amountof $3,500

each, are available for students entering in Septenber, 1978, the first academic Year of the course leading to the Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Victoria.

Conditions of eligibility: a) Canadian citizenship or landed immigrant status: b). Eligibility for ad- mission to the Faculty of Law;

0) Outstanding pre—law academic record;

d) Such other qualities as in the opinion of the Selection Committee, may be needed for the attainment of distinction in the legal profession.
