SEALED TENDERS will be received at this Office, until'12

o’clock, noon, on TUESDAY, the 31st day of DECEM- BER, inst, from any person or persons being willing to contract to supply Queen’s County Jail, at Charlottetown, from the 1st day of January, 1868, to the Slat day of December, 1868, in- clusive, with the following articles, the same to be delivered at the Jail, at the cost of the contractor :—

Hard and Soft Bread. Molasses, Oatmeal. and Seal Oil. All these articles are required to be of the best quality. Tenders must express the price per pound and gallon, in the currency of this Island, and be accompanied by the names of two sufficient securities for the performance of the contract. Payment to be made by warrant on the Treasury. Ten- ders to express on cover “ Tender for Queen‘s County Jail.”

SEALED TENDERS will be received at this Oflice, until 12 o’clock, noon, on TUESDAY, the 31st day of December inst., from any person or persons, being willing to contract to supply Prince County Jail, at St. Eleanor’s, and King’s County Jail, at Georgetown, severally, from the let day of January, 1868, to the 318i; day ofDecember, 1868, inclusive. with the follow- ing articles, the same to be delivered at each Jail, respectively, at the cost of the contractor, and in such quantity or quanti- ties as shall, from time to time, be demanded or required, VlZ :—

Hard and Soft Bread. Molasses. Oatmeal. Seal Oil and

Cord Wood.

All these articles are required to be of the best quality. The Wood to be four feet long, and to be piled in the respect- ive Jail Yards six feet high, at the expense of the contractor, and to consist of Black and Yellow Birch, Beech and Maple. No crooked or rotton wood will be taken.

Tenders must express the price per pound, gallon and cord, in the currency of this Island, and be accompanied by the names of two sufficient securities for the performance of the contract.

Payment to be made by warrant on the Treasury. Ten- ders to express on the cover the Jail Service tendered for. .

Cascumpec Wharf.

IFENDERS will be received by the undersigned until Satur- day, the 21st instant, at 12 o’clock, for building three Blocks and three Spans to the Wharf at Cascumpec, specification to be seen at my Office Ilillsborough Square, and at the store of the Hon. G. \V. Howlan, Alberton. Contractor to give sufficient security for the performance of the contract. One-third of the amount of contract to be paid on signing the bonds, the balance when the contract is completed; to be all finished by the 15th August,

HE Commissioner of Public Lands will attend at the

following places, on the days hereinafter stated, for the

recei t of all amounts due on the purchase of Public Lands, and for the sale of Wilderness Land :—

On Thursday, the 26th day of December next, at 10 a. m, at Mr. Finlay’s, New Perth, Lot 52.

On Friday, the 27th day of December next, at 10 a. m, and on Saturday, the 28th day of December, at Mr. Aldous’, Montague River, Lot 59.

On Tuesday, the 3lst day of December. at 10 a. m, and on Wednesday, the 1st day of January, 1868, at Mr. Euman's, Murray Harbor Road, Lot 57.

Those Tenants on the Montgomery and Cunard Estates who have not accepted the provisions of the Land Purchase Act, and have omitted to pay their rent, are hereby finally notified that unless payment is made to the Commissioner, at the time and place above named, distraints will be issued for its recovery.
