Cathy Chandler and Sharon Douglas led the way for us with 14 each. ,ch— ever, they lost 62-58 to Nbunt Allison with Cathy leading the way with 18. Our Basketball Panthers had a Host unhappy trip to Nova Scotia where they dropped two important ganes and were thus elimin- ated from any hope of attaining the playoffs. Against Dalhousie they were edged out 83-80 in a real heart— breaker. Billy Rednond and Vinne DiPinto were high for us with 18's. Next day, in Antigonish, the nation- ally rated St. F.X. team won quite easily by a 112—79 . score. Billy Radnond led ' our team with 21. That pretty well ties up 2nd and 3rd places, but with UNB having their two garres with last place Memorial they'll have to be conceded as favourites to end up in second place.
