year.

A son of the late _R1ev. and Mrs. John Rees. of Llwyngivil, Wales Mr. Rees was born in Mertliyr, Wales. He waseducated at Brecon College and Oxford University.

He served durina the Great War in the Royal Welch Fusiliers, Iollow- ing which he became District Com-

missioner in West Africa, later retiring throu h ill health. He came to ontreal in 1927 and

entered the Church a5 curate oi St. Clement's in Verdun. He was later employed in the Royal Trust, corn- panv when he cave up hi5 active service in the Church but. falling health brought about. his retirement nearly a year ago. He recently re- turned Irom Charlottetown, P. E. I.

He is survived b his wife, the former Kathleen ily Chadwick; one sister. Mrs. Richard Williams, oi LymeIRegis Dorset, England; and Philip David. a step-son.
