The Christmas tournament of intramural sports has begun. This world—renowned tournament began on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week with intra- mural broarball. The Day Students and Blanchard were featured on Tuesday night, and the perennial powers — lst and 2ndBemadine and 3rd'and 4th Bernadine - squared off on Wednesday. At press time, scores were unavailable. The winners of these 13m games will meet-early next week for thech jewels. Participation has been excellent in the last couple of weeks from Bernadine Hall. Keep up the goodwork, girls, andtheremaybescmethinginit foryouatthe end of the year.”

Tickets are now going on sale for the semi- final games of the Women's Intramural Christmas Tournament Basketball Cl'lamrpionships. Rumor has it the games may be played at the Metro Centre in Halifax to allow everyone who wants to watch, a chance to see it. Prices for this auspicious occasion, however, will not change, regardless of where it is held. '

If you're interested in playing either see the above people, or myself, or simply care out to the gym on the respective dates. No guarantee there will be any N.B.A. scouts in attendance, but it should be a lot of fun.

& astonished to find out what their roster consisted of. I feel this is another matter the Commission— er should look into. Their goalie, Chuck ‘ Gallison, was a former player of Marian Hall and was given the boot, for reasons I do not know of, but it was a mistake. A former player in the Island Junior Hockey Ieague. Chuck proves his ability every time he sets himself between those bars. His ally drawback is his absentee mind, which prevents him from attending all their scheduled games. If his fellow players keep reminding him that they play‘ this week, the team may be victorious in the tournament. In addition. to Chuck, there is Joe Flip a pony (the Godfather of the league). He also is a former junior league players, who played under the Bishara Syndicate in tl'e IHL during the 78 and 79‘ season. Hisabilities in this sport will be a great asset to the Bus. Vets. Finally,if the above cannot bringthe team to victory then it will be Lp to captain Highliner (Reid Burke) andhis ‘ Billy's (Andy Butler and Fred Younker) to win the tournament. The name for this line" originated last year when Reid was appointed captain of the Jd'm‘ Hamilton Gray. His condition was a little mbalanced, but his first mates, Andy and Fred, took the controls. So, let's hope that the best win (M&M), andallhaveagoodtime.
