I’m Outta Here!!

Well the whole year is almost over and this is the last ‘time you’ll pick up the X-Press until September. I

still have about two months of school work to catch

up on, oh well!! Since this is the last issue of the paper! thought I’d take the opportunity to thank a few people; Heather Love, the student Union General : Manager without whom I would never have survived the year-- Betty Johnson our Administrative assist- ance who put up with my bullshit all year... Jo-Anna, Nadine, Laurie and Tracy, my fellow executives who excused me from all those forgotten meetings... Tracey Proude and Ricky Hickox who helped to make my job much easier... and all of the bartenders and ‘campus police who were a pleasure to work with. Also I would like to thank Mark Cusack of the Inn on the Hill for his sponsorship of National Student Day -and Gerard Nolan of Pizza Twice for his generous donation for the people who counted the election ballots! I hope everyone hasa great summer and I'll ‘See some of your next year!

valuation of Teaching ALL STUDENTS are invited to express their views on the following subject - ‘‘Evaluation of Teaching’’, fo any of the UPEI Student Union Senators before April 10th. Senate will be discussing this at their necting this Friday at 3:00pm.

Motion: Davison/Campbell .............00 carried inanimously ‘Be it resolved that the Student Union, Senate, and Board of Governors representatives we lirected to work towards a mandator, standardized

system for student evaluation of Professors in all courses.’’ Be it further resolved that the student , evaluations be immediately sealed upon completion,

kept sealed until after final exams, be typed before the respective instructors and Professors view them, and kept on file in their respective departments. ”’

Motion: DeWolfe/Gauthier.................... carried unanimously ‘‘Be it resolved that the Student Union make a formal statementto Senatetoexpressour views as outlined in the preceding motion.”’
