The evening was pleasantly spent in games. music. and dancing. alter which a delicious lunch was served by Mrs. Henry Maclaan and Mrs. Horace Carmichael.

Mr. Ernest MacMillan read an address to the family. after which each was presented with luggage by Mrs. Charlie Swan and Mrs. Warren Burns. while little Garth was remembered with a suitable toy. Mrs. Nellie Sullivan has returned to,Wakefield. Mass.. after spend- ing two months visiting on the Island. Mrs. Sullivan was before- her marriage Miss Nellie Murphy. popularly known now among her relatives as Aunt Nell. She left her home in Stanley Bridge sixty years ago. at the age of seventeen and, spent the intervening years of her; life in Wakefield, Mass. until two years ago. when she moved to Texas to live with her dsughter.! Her husband. Mr. William Sulllvan' ago. She plans to return to Texas in the latter part of Spetemberu

While on the island. besides visit- ing among her relatives and meet- ing many old acquaintances. she' was the honored guest at a family picnic held at Cavendish, at which ninety-seven of her relatives were present. This same group assemb- led at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Murphy, Norlitiro. to bid her farewell on the eve nf her depart ure. During the course of the even- ing. as a token of their love and esteem and as a souvenir of her visit to the Island. the family pre- sented Aunt Nell with two familiar, ; framed and mounted Island scenes. and a silver filled rosary.

Aunt Nell thanked them heartily for their kindness. and says she hopes to return to the Island in three years time. i
