It is with Ioslings of sorrow and sstonidiineut that I have heard that a gentleman in our community profsssedly a member of the Church of England-a a Methodist Missionary Meeting, on the evening of 'l‘ussdny the 22d ult., made use of language decidedly calculated to injure the Church in the eyes of the pre- judiced and the uninformed. His language was some- what to the following el'ect:—" The members of the Church of England are lukewarm. and trust in ritual aucos."
