DUBLIN lfteutersle-The ques- tion of whether Ireland should be run by a coalition or single party government today is turning into one of the main issues in the gen- eral election campaign.

Other issues to be decided by the voters March 5 are the ques- tion of economic policy and party tactics in relation to the recent raids on Northern Irish police and military posts by units of the out- lawed Irish Republican Army.

The question of a coalition gov- ernment ha. been a Prominent ls- sue in each of the three general elections since 1018. But the ques- tion is of exceptional interest this time because of efforts to bring the two main opposing parties to- gether in one unit.
