The Grand Finale

Two years slowly passed,

As John and Lisa continue courting;

One evening, as the admired Starzan, John proposed to his love.

Lisa quickly said yes,

And John shouted, “Yahooo!!!”

Lisa’s family came out,

And congratulated the young couple.

Two months later,

Their wedding day arrived;

—Three hundred guests flocked the church, And everyone admired the flowers,

John and his best man Wendell, Straightened their ties,

(For the thousandeth time),

And walked up the aisle to the altar. Lisa’a mother cried and cried,

Not believing she had lost her baby;

Lisa’s maid of honor Janey.

Kissed Lisa and wished her good luck. Kevis: the minister arrived,

And steadied the perspiring groom;

The organist began playing,

And Lisa walked up the aisle.

John surveyed his young bride,

And his happiness nearly overflowed;

The minister began the service, _

While a robin sang outside.

John and Lisa became husband and wife, And bowed eternal promises to each other; The gushy guests threw rice with gusto, As John and Lisa emerged from the church. The couple had their pictures taken in a park, And everyone had a grand time;

Even Wendell enjoyed himself,

Although he somehow slipped into the pond. The reception was enjoyable and featured several thousand laughs; Some people lined up at a mike,

and related stories about the bride and groom.

Lisa’s sister Joan related the time,

That Lisa had caught her hand in a peanut butter jar;

Wendell told everyone about the day,

That John had promised his pals he would never marry. Finally, John and Lisa departed,

On their Greek honeymoon;

The guests were left to clean up,

And to talk about the day’s events.

It soon became quite apparent,

That Cupid was still in the air;

Kevin and Jane talked quite amiable with each other,

While Joan decided that John’s brother Wayne was kind of cute. Wendell felt out of place in the crowd,

So he decided to clean up the buffet;

Meanwhile, somewhere out there,

John and Lisa drove on into the sunset...

The rebirth of a gypsy, torn by his stress.

Searching for life through and angel of light,

a renaissance man hoping for a sweet caress.

Letting down his guard, he stumbles in the dark.

The angel speaks softly of crimson and blood,

tracking though fields, leaving each word with a spark,

the renaissance man lies face down in the mud.

‘As he walks along the beech, he speaks a word and a prayer. Crying out for darkened skies to let in the light of afternoon. Screaming for a vision, he ponders in despair.

he wanders through the fields of fire.

He still hopes for his harsh disease to be cured. The renaissance man neither is full, nor will tire. Nightly he improved until laughed at their derision. He fooled them all and became a huge success.

While they stood still,/he reached a critical decision. Now it is them, and not the renaissance man who. wanders in distress. ©
