Losses were registered among Canadian issues. Biggest loser was Bell Telephone down four points to 101 and Distillers Sesgram pid down 1 1-8. Distillers Sesgram common, Brazilian Traction, Imperial 011 and Lake Shore all lost 1-8. Inter- national Nickel declined 5-8 and Walkers 3-4.

The Associated Press average of 60 shacks finished unchanged‘ at 39.2. Transfers of 310,040 shares were the snellest for a full session since March 5, and compared with 406.350 the clay before.

McKesson and Robbins pid got up 1 1-8 to a new 1941 lop. Other gainers included U.S, Steel, Strind- and Oil of N.J.. Kenneootl, Santa Fe. Montgomery Ward, United Air- craft, U.S. Rubber and Loft.
