When I wrote my article, I wanted to bring up an issue that was apparent to me. If you feel it was “in Loos’ imagination” I’m sorry but I don’t think it is.

I certainly did not want to create a controversy for the sake of discussion. I simply wanted to bring the issue forward, in a neutral manner, in order to drae some response from all UPEI students. I felt that encouraging students to express their views could some- how help those attending UPEI to understand the situations and attitudes of the vet students (and vice versa). -

I do apologize for the insinuation that UPEI students and vet students are two separate entities. I certainly had no intention of presenting it that way, and thank you for the clarification.

This letter is in response to a letter you ran last week. That let- ter was criticizing Celebrity Cor- ner and it’s author Winston Dun- can. That letter was full of crap. Ask any Gem reader and they will tell you that Celebrity Cor- ° ner is the best thing in the Gem. Everyone knows how the athletes train and practise for their sport. With Celebrity corner we get to see the lighter side of the athletes. I know from talking to Winston Duncan that his column is there for laughter and entertainment.
