Orrawa, April 21.—An official list of the corps invited to send men to England as members of the Jubilee Battalion in cludesonly four men of the 82nd Queen’s County, P. E. Island, Regiment.

The Franchise debate was continued in the House of Commons yesterday by Sir Charles Tupper, who argued ino favor of a uniform franchise.

a leiter from Dr. Taylor repudiating any connection with the authorship of the paragraph describing the details of a“ skil- ful ” operation performed by @ member of

the medical council, assisted by others, of which he himself was of the number. I lave the most sincere sympathy with Dr. Taylor in his denunciation of the unseem- ly practice of self advertizing and I would ask him to particularly cocdemn, through hie influerc: with the medical council, the pric ice of doctors who advertize that they are xpecialists in certain branches of the profession, when all the while they are in general practice.
