If he does, he is mistaken. The men who compose the Liberal Conservative Party, in this Province, are, for the most part, men of hovor,—they love fair play, they hate iuiqui'y, they sympathize with tho-e who iu the right are uufortunate—and Dr. Jenkins would not stand the ghost of a chance of election by them.

These officers were not appointed under the Canada Temperance Act, but under an Act passed a few years ago by our Local Legislature.
