OTTAWIA (CP) — Progressive Conservative MIPs from four provinces urged the federal gov- ernment Thursday to make more long - term credit available to farmers on more generous terms.

They told the Commons agri- culture committee this should be done because private lehding in- stitutions no longer are interested in making mortgage loans to farmers.
