Labor Wants Judge Moved

VANCOUVER: (CP) Two union locals have demanded the federal government remove Mr. Justice A. M. Manson from the British Columbia Supreme Court | bench.

The demands of Local 138 of the Brotherhood of Painters, dec- orators and Paperhangers of America (CLC) and Loca! 433 of the International Pulp, Sulphite and Paper Mill Workers ‘CLC) were made known Wednesday night at a meeting of the Van- couver Labor ‘Council (CLC). The demands follow Mr. Jus- tice Manson's actions in court proceedings against the Interna- tional Association of Bridge, Structural and Ornamental Iron-| workers (CLC) which has struck several B.C. projects including the $23,000,000 Second Narrows Bridge across Vancouver har- bor.
