Dare we deny that soul development should have a fitting place and suitable recogni- tion in any sysiem of education worthy the name? Take away this as the aim and object of human existence and life will not be worth the living. The import- ance of spiritual development as far tran- scends that of the intellectual or physical as the heavens are above the earth.
Thus our ideal mar, intended, however, for every day use, should possess a physi-~ cal development adequate to meet every requirement; intelligence, measured by quality not quantity; and last, but not
