Some boys. unable to sleep! and with a yen -for barbershop haimoiiy. started to sing. It was slow and croony, but from remarks hurled at the vocalists we gather- edit wasn't a lullaby. We were finally able to "tell them why this wasn't the time and the place." some started to play cards and the thump of the ace crashing down on the jack was also not conducive to slumber.

He assured us that if the whole 29 were still around at dinner time, he would get busy as a. one-man receptionist com- mittee. and Orllanize the Central Bedeque homes so that each might take a small group of the 'displnc. ed persons' and so relieve the Greens of much of their burden. After all, the Greens were the very soul of hospitality. but they were not B commissiarint! . . .

Fortunately, the isnowplow Ar. rived before Summerside appetites had a chance to ravage the larders of the good people of Central Be- deque, but we will not soon for- get the friendly -flavor of their hos- pitality.
