Pied-billed Grebe - 1 at Deroche Point on Aug. 27 and Sept. 5 (JDM). Double—crested Cormorant - 56 at Savage Harbour on Aug. 27 (JDM).

Great Egret - 1 at a Great Blue Heron colony in Murray Harbour on July 11 (PM). American Bittern - 1 at Cardross on July 19 (JDM).

Canada Goose — about 500 at Orwell on Sept. 4 and 11 (Jw).

Snow Goose - 1 at Indian River on July 7 (TC).

Green—winged Teal - 3 at Deroche Point on May 27 (JDM).

American Black Duck - 1 with 9 young at Black Pond on July 3, and 100 at Deroche P01nt on Sept. 5 (JDM).

Mallard - 1 m at Beech Grove on June 30 (JDM).

Blue-win ed Teal - 1 pr at Deroche Point on May 27, 1 with 10 young at Black Pond on July 3 and 4 at Deroche Point.on Aug. 27 (JDM).

Gadwall - 3 at Deroche Point on May 27 (JDM). American Wigeon - 86 at Deroche Point on Aug. 27 and 10 there on Sept. 5 (JDM).

Ring-necked Duck - 5 m and 1 f on May 27, 4 pr on June 5, 2 pr on June 12, 1 wjth 10 young on June 26, all at Deroche Point (JDM).

Harleguin Duck - 7 at East Point on July 3 (JDM). Common Eider - 8 at East Point on July 3 (JUN). Surf Scoter- 15 at East Point on July 3 (JDM).

Osprey - 1 in Bonshaw in early June (JS); 1 with a fish at West River Causeway on May 22, 1 in Donagh during June sometimes carrying fish, 1 at Deroche Point on June 20 and 1 at Blooming Point on June 26 (JDM); 1 with a fish at Indian Bridge on the Morell River on June 28 (RBM); 1 at Savage Harbour on Aug. 27, 1 at Donagh on Sept. 2, 1 at Mt. Stewart on Sept. 5 and 1 at Deroche Point on Sept. 5 (JDM).

Bald Ea le — 1 at Maple Hill on July 16 (JDM); 1 ad in Vernon River on Aug. 25 (GGH); 1 ad in Winsloe on Aug. 27 (JCr). ’

Northern Harrier — 1 at Deroche Point on May 27 and 1 there on June 26 (this bird made a Single pass at an osprey carrying a fish and was then harassed by a male red-winged blackbird), 1 at Five Houses on July 3, 1 at Mt. Stewart and 1 at Millvale on July 16, 1 at Cardross on July 19, 1 at Deroche Point on Aug. 17, and 1 at Donagh on Sept. 7 (JDM).

Sharp-shinned Hawk - 1 in Milltown Cross on June 27 (WEC). Red-tailed Hawk - a pair in Bonshaw seen daily in early June (JS).

American Kestral - 1 at Morell Rear on May 20 (had center tail feathers missing) and 1 at Savage Harbour on June 27 (JDM); 1 in Brooklyn on June 29, 1 in Caledonia on June 30 and 1 in East Royalty on July 1 (WEC); 1 at Emyvale on Aug. 9, Sept.

2 and 10 (JDM); 1 at Donagh Sept. 4, 7 and 10 (JDM).

Merlin - 1 at North Cape on Aug. 15 and 2 in Keppoch on Aug. 28 (GGH).
