St. James defeated the Baptist Church Troop 3-2 in a closely played exhibition hockey game at the Memorial Field Rotary Rink recently. These teams will event- ually play in the regular Scout League.

The Kirk team enjoyed a very slight edge over the Baptist play- ers in the exhibition game. The game was fast and both teams missed many scoring opportunities.

Derek Buntain scored two of the St. James goals while Billy P1-owse scored one. Paul Oakes and Wen- dell MacLean were the marksman for the losers.
