I would like to express my thanks to professor Ran hman for demanding last week, sensibility, and cl- arity in this university paper. I trust that hence- forth "towers of Babel", "fly—bottles", and "Humpty Dumpty" will no longer 80*, Ail these pages.

I must also agree with- professor Rahman that the presence of "high-flown philosophy" in a.universi- ty paper, of all places, Mr. Editor, is indeed a detriment. One is now fo- ~rced to read the Cadre and, worse, to think about it. One is even aroused to wr-

‘ite replies and thus waste time, of which, alas, one phas far too little.

Furthermore, Mr. Editor, it is indeed "nerve-wracke ing" to have such confused and confusing questions raised in interviews. Doa n't you know that freedom of Speech is leaving peo- ple free to say what they expect their listeners ex- pect to hear? Just give us the news, Mr. Editor, lea- ve the ideas to the neuro- logiSts and the electroen- cephalographs.

Or, if we must have ideas than I would agree with prdfessor Rahman that, if their expression is not cl- ear and distinct, the iss- ues will be obscured and confused..

Here, unfortunately, I do not find Professor Rahman's suggestions very helpful.
