Easter Pageant Presented In O’Leary Baptist Church
OLE RY — An Easter pag- eant “The Uplifted Cross" by Mattie B. Shannon was pre- sented in the O‘Leary Baptist Church, Easter Sunday eve- ning by members of the Sun- day School.
Beautiful potth and cut flow- ers formed a pleasing back- ground for a yellow cross en- twined with Easter lilies.
Mrs. Ralph Bishop opened the service with Scripture and prayer. The costumes added much to the realism of the Bib- lical story. The lighting under the direction of Wilbur Gray and Mrs. L.G. Dewar added various color tones during the performance.
