MRS. KESTILE B. ROSS

On the morning of August 16, 1958. at the King’s County Mem_- orial Homiztall, a longtime resi— dent of Union Road, King’s County, Mrs. Kestle B. Ross (nee Annabella MarcD'ImmIId) passed to her eternal Home. Her death, which was sudden and un- expected, came at the time she was thought to be recovering from an injury to her right leg. This injury was the result of a fall in the yard at her own home.

Mrs. Ross was born at Victoria Cross on October 23, 1882. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hugh MaoDeanmid' . Around the ago of eighteen she moved to the U.S.A. and for a period of about twelve years she worked at vamiows centres throughout the New England Stat- es. In 1916, she married Kestle Ross of Union Road, King’s County. Her husband predeceas-

For many years Mrs. Ross was an active member of the Montague Uni-ted Baptist Church, she took a special interest in the Baptist Women’s Society, for a number of years she was a member of the Wo- men’s Institute. Keenly aware of the advantages of a good educa- tion she was an inspiration to her own family during their ed- ucational endeavors. She will be especially remembered by many tor her sympathetic under- standing and willingness to help others in times of sickness and troubles, always good at visiting those laid aside in hospitals or in their own homes. She, herself, was cheered and glladdened by the many visits of friends and relatives when sickness came to her.

The late Mrs. Ross leaves to mourn her passing one daughter: Evelyn R., Charlottetown; two sons: Alton L., London, Ontar- io; R. Wilson, Charlottetown;
