A Bio Yreup.—Mr. William Prescott, of Baie Verte, harvested last week his secon i crop of English hay for this season frova two acres of ground. The combined crops weighed eight tons when ready to be put in the barn. There is nothing the matter with the land that will yield four tons of Engiish hay to the acre, and it is not a very bad climate that will ripen two crops by the middle of September.— Moncton Times.

Livery Movinc —We congratulate Cap- tain Doane upon the good work done by the Brittania on her last trip from this port to Boston and back. She ‘eft here at eleven o'clock last Tuesday night, arrived at Boston on Thursday evening, left there jon Saturday afternoon and reached Charlottetown about miduight last night. The Britannia left Bos- ton tor Halifax about ten minutes ahead of the Halifex on Saturday and gained an hour on her rival before Halifax was reached.
