Dr Halsey—Dear Sir;—Having taken your Forest Wine snd Pills to remove a disease of the Liver trom which | have suffered severely for upwards of ten years; afd having adhered closely to the directions which accompany the medicines | have re- covered my health, notwithstanding al] whe knew me thought my case incurable. Previous to taking the Wine and Pills, 1 had recourse to the best medical treatment, but continued to grow worse to an alarming degree. Some of my friends spoke disparagingly of my case, and tried to persuade me from mak- ing use of any advertised remedies; and | doubt not, that there are hundreds who are dissuaded from taking vour excelent medicines in consequence of the deception and inefhiciency of many advertised remedies put forth by unprincipled men ia flaming advertisements. But, what a pity it is that the deceo tion used by others shou'd be the means of dissuading many labouring under disease from making trial] and beimg cured by your excellent remedies.
