The meeting then discussed the advisability of amending certain of the By-iaws as proposed by the Directors. The suggested changes were passed without alteration. Following adoption of the reports,‘ the President, Mr. Pope, addressed the meeting. giving a very compre hensive survey of the year's activities. His report is reproduced for the ben- efit if those unable to attend the nlcéting.

The Treasurer's Report speaks for itself. His work has always been punctlllously done with tact and ef- ficiency and it means much to feel assured that the custody of your finances is in thoroughly dependable hands. We all feel duly grateful to Mr. George Nicholson.

The report of the Club House and Property Committee ls also satis- factory. There are a dozen and one things that always demand attention and which, if not attended to. would cause loss and annoyance. We have to thank Mr. D. B. Stewart, who has been responsible for this work for years, for the manner in which he has done it. Two matters will engage the attention of the incoming Executive. the roof of the club house will re- quire attention and as soon as poss- ible the line fence along the orchard of the Model farm, which at present conforms to the irregularity or the woods should be properly run.

The Games Committee is one which makes large claims upon its emu. man and his assistants. The de- mands upon his time are exacting and he generally finds it necessary to forego his own play in order that the conduct of the matches may be: efficiently done. We are fortunate lnl having this matter in charge of Edward Nicholson. He ls always on' hand and always efficient.
