'CHILDREN'S 'I'REA'I'-'l'wen- ty-six children of the P. E. I. Pro- testant Orphanage. at Mt. Herbert were entertained on Sunday by the Men's Asoociation of the Unit- gd Church in Montague. A com- mittee from the association under chairman Gilbert Clements sup- ervised the program at which each of the children were entertained during the day at the home of one of the members. In the evening the junior choir from the Orhpanago gang at the Church Service. which was conducted by Rev. J. M. Fraser. After the service they were shown films and treated to . deliciour lunch.
'CAMERON CLUB-The Mon- iague Camera Club held its regu- lar meeting at the home of Mrs. Danny Murray. The president opened the meeting. followed by the reading of the minutes. Five cntrles were handed in for the March competition "Animals." Members decided to keep meeting iince a month during the sum- mer. First of Lady Convossers To Make Rel-urns
Yesterday Mrs. Norman Low- ther established another record by being the first of the lady canvassers of the Charlbtteiown ladies' committee to make her returns at Red Cross headquar- ters. Mrs. Lowther received her canvassing kit on Saturday after- noon and started out first thing Monday morning to make her uslls. By the middle of the after- noon she had completed ali out a few "call backs" and had the splendid sum of 549.75 to urn in. Canvassing kits which .iava not yet been called for are be- ing distributed to the balance of the lady canvaasers today.

Montague. on Sunday evening. when boys and girls from the Protestant Orphanage. Mount
Herbert. formed a junior choir for the service. The church was filled to capacity. people being present from several communities. The hymns sung were "Day is Dying In The West." "God Sees The Lit- tle Sparrow Fall" and ”Stand Up, Stand Up For Jesus". The special numbers i 'uded the anthems ”The Lord's My Sliepherd" (Brother James' air). and "Holy

After the service. a large num- ber of people saw two interesting films in the church hall. and a delicious lunch was served by I group of the ladies. Mr. I. G. Phil- lips, accompanied by Mrs. L. A. Johnston.i led in the singing of favorite hymns.
