A Letter from Sebastopol.

We have been favored by Sergeant McKinuon with the following letter from his Son in Law Sergeant Billings of the 38th Regiment, now before Sebastopol. The letter is of very recent date and coming from a person who was well known in the Island, will be doubly interesting.

British Camp before Sebaiitopol, 12th December, 1854. George Coles, Esquire,.l. P. for three Counties, was also convicted and sentenced to ay a fine of £15 for a breach of the Peace. Sut I have not

either dismissed from their oliices, or that they had resigned. My reason for troubling on on no occasion is, to enquire if these in ividu- als still hold their positions as J. P's? for not a great while since, a person residing not a great distance from Charlottetown, iii a sion, forgot that he was a . P., and upon being convicted of a breach of the peace, and sentenced to pay a line. had to retire from his "tier: as aJustice of the Peace, and folks ereabouta are desirous to know,if, because the first named individuals are residing in the Capital, altliougli convicted of similar ofiiiuces,
