The only pos- sible way he can avoid a penalty in a situation like this is to hide his head in his hands and try to crawl through a crack in the boards. If he ettanpted any such act he should then get a penalty -for slssifying our national win- ter sport. To attempt some sort of defence is the natural. manly thing to do. end does not rate a trip to the sin bin in our opinion.

Sourls Wins Garrison league Game Al Forum

In a rousing Garrison Hockey League contest played at Sourls rink Wednesday night the Sourls F. Troop (R..C.A.) squad downed the 21st Field Ambulance aggreg- ation by a score of 9-4.

Banging home four goals with- out n reply in the opening session. Sourls held a wide margin on the play, but were faced with stiffer opposition in the middle session when the R.C.A.'M.C. boys pui- scored them 3-2 to hold the score at 7-3 at the end of that time.

Three more goals by Sourls in the closing session. while the medics tallied one. gave the artillery Duckstcrs the victory by a wide ave-goal margin.

Forward E. Cahill of the Field Ambulance crew. suffered a brok- en collar bone in the first period after beinc checked into the boards during a rough session.
