Mapaip, May 19.—One of the first acts of the new Cabinet’ will probably be the expulsion from Spain of all correspondents of American newspapers.

Similar steps will be taken against British correspondents who send cespatch- es regarded as objectionable.

Miniiterial circles continue to emphasize the view that Great Britain is guilty of the war, inasmuch as she opposed the com mon action of the powers in the direction of peace and afterwards favored the United States, thereby violating all sentiments of justice.

New York, May 19.- A special cable to The World from Kingston, Jamaica, says that a telegram from Port Morant dated a 4 o’clock, etates that the lighthouse keep r at Morant Point, to the extreme eastward of Jamaice, reports that a aumber of steam ships, apparently warships, were pass- ing.

Wasuineron, May i9.—Secretary Long gave out yesterday the welcome informa tion that the battleship Oregon, the second largeet craft in the American navy, had successfully completed her long trip from San Francisco and was now safe. Whether or not she has jvined Admiral Sampson’s fleet the Secretary would not say.

Aside from this bit of information Secretary Long said, at the close of offize hours, that there was no news to be given out.

The cruiser Charleston sailed from Sano Francisco yesterday to join Admiral Dewey at Manila and should arrive there in about twenty-four days, allowing a couple cf days at Honvlulu for coal.
