Rev. I. M, Melliish Pays a Warm Tribute To His Memery,.

The funeral of Archibald Holmes, whose sudden and unexpected death occurred at his home on Wednesday last, was held Friday afternoon. A large number of friends attended. The florai contributions were numerous, and beautiful in design. Rev. J. M, Leonard, of the Centre Meth- odist church, led in the services, and Rev. I. M.Mellish who had been intimately acquainted with deceased for many yearg, who waa present when he died, in tender and touching terms paid a glowing tribute to his memory. He said Mr. Holmes was a large hearted man whose hospitality and generosity of mind knew no bounds. Returning, will leave north side Lewis Wharf, Boston, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at noon.

Through Tickets for sale and bagga; checked at stations on Intercolonial Rail- way.

Passengers arriving in Halifax Monday or Wednesday evenings, can go directly on board steamer.
