‘Notice is hereby given that, on application of Richard Taylor, of New London, in the County of Queen’s, in Prince Edward Island. made to his Honor the Commis- sioner in Insolvency. pursuant to the “ Unfortunate Debtors' Act, 1868,” I do, by his Honor’s directions. hereby appoint Saturday, the Eighteenth day of De- cember next, at the Court House. in Charlottetown. at Eleven o'clock in the forenoon, as the time and place for meeting of the creditors of the said Richard Taylor for the purpose of examining into the state of his affairs, and considering the terms of acompromise to be ofl'er- ed by him under the said Act.

IN pursuance of an Act of the General Assembly of

this Island, passed in the twenty-seventh year of the reign of Her present Majesty Queen Victoria. intituled “ An Act to consolidate and amend the several laws im- posing an Assessment on all Lands in this Colony, and for the encouragement of Education,” I do hereby publicly notify the owners or occupiers of Land and Real Estate in Georgetown and Common, for which the annual assessment levied thereon by the Assessors for said Town and Common is payable, that unless the assessment for the current year be paid into the hands of Mr. Archibald McKinnon, my collector for said Town and Common. within the time prescribed by law. pro- ceedings Will be taken against all such Lands and Real Estate as shall then be in arrears for the non-pay- ment of the sums charged thereon. agreeably to the directions of the above recited Act.

For Nova Scotia, via Pictou, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening at 7 o'clock.

Mails for Great Britain. Newfoundland and the “fest Indies, every alternate Monday and “’ednesday evening at 7 o’clock. as follows, viz :-— '

Mails for Summerside, St. Eleanor’s, North Bedeque and Lower Freetown, to be forwarded by Steamer, will be closed every Monday, \Vednesday and Friday evening at 7 o’clock. '

Mails for Georgetown and Souris, per Steamer, every Friday evening at 7 o’clock.

Letters to be registered, and Newspapers must be posted at least half an hour before the time of closing the Mails.

A mail for England. via United States, will be forwarded when required. Postage on letters 7d. stg.

Letters and Newspapers for West Indies and Newfound- land must be prepaid.

The Steamers carrying the above mails, will leave Char- lottetown for Shediac every Monday, \Vednesday and Friday evening at 7d p. m.

For Pictou, Steamers leave Charlottetown every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings at 5 a. m.

Mails for the United States, Canada and New Brunswick, will be due on the evenings of Monday, \Vednesday and Friday at 95 o’clock.
