Following a reading and pra- yerby Mrs. Harry Adams, Mrs. - Dan MalcPherson read a very in- teresting story to the children entitled, “Little Candles.” Prayer was offered by Mrs. Edward MacDougalll. Mrs. Reg- inald Adams gave a reading, "Jesus the Childrens’ Offering and mite boxes were received by Misses Norma- Adams, and Olga Dennis. Remarks were made by Mrs. Alice Turner, after

which Mrs. Adams expressed her thanks to the ladies for assisting her with the Band.

The late Mrs. Gardiner, the former Adella Lyle of Central Lot 16 was a l-adyof a: quiet and gentle disposition, and was noted for many acts of kindness. Her husband predeceased her almost 6 years ago.

Surwiving are three daughters and one son Elsie, Mrs. Albert Shepard, Kelso, Washington; S‘ad- ie, Mrs. Harry Murray, Pocasset', Mass; Annie, Mrs. Ben Pillman, Traveller’s Rest; Leslie, Wetas- kiwin, Alberta; also two brdthers of Michigan.

Two sons George and Thomas and one daughter Florence, Mrs. William Miller, predeceased her.

She also leaves .14 grand-chil- dren, 12 great grandchildren, and one great, great, grand-child.

There were many lovely Flor- al tributes.

The pail bearers were Seymour Thompson, Ivan Clarke, Claude Ram-say, Lloyd Best, Winfield Gamble, Aage Johnson.

The funeral was held from the United Church hit 16, Interment church cemetery, Rev. Alex Ma Kay, officiating. I
