She chose as her bridetmald. Miss Jeannie Langelle of Truro, who looked charming in her floor length gown of pale pink mauve taffeta. made in hoop style with lace yoke and long pointed Iieeves.

She wore a head ornament of pink silk. caught at the side with now of pink ribbon and carried I souquct of pink roses.

The bride's mother was dressed in navy blue crepe and wore a pink corsage of roses. the groom's mother wore a navy and white sheer and a corsage of white 'roses.

The groom was supported by Mr. Muir MacKsy of Upper Itcwiacke. N. S.

The home was prcttiiy decorat- rrl for the occasion. the color scheme being white in the living room. with cut flowers of white giadloli, sweet peas, etc. The dining room was artistically de- :orated in pink and white and :ut flowers. The dining room table with its Scotch lace tablecloth. iall white tapers, hand painted and a three tier wedding cake. presented an added attraction.

The reception was held at 5 pm.. the bride's aunt. Mrs. Aus- iin Kennedy. and the groom's grandmother. Mrs. Ada MacDonald sf Palmer. Mass.. pouring.

The toast to the bride was pro- posed by the Rev. 5. B. Profltt. responded to by the groom. the toast to the bridesmaid proposed )y the Rev. B. W. MacPhaii. re- sponded to by the best man.

Many congratulatory message were read. after which the bride changed to her going away cos- tume of olive green suit. acces- sories to match and n Corsage of vellow roses.

The wedding music was play- ed by Mrs. RJA. Profitt of Free- town.

The groom: gift. to the bride was a set of travelling cases and to the bridesmaid and organist. tar-rings. to the groomsman a wallet. Many beautiful wedding Ifts were received.

Valerie couldn't remember when she had learned to swim. Ellen. loathed the general untldlness of mom. had been horrified when she first saw the small girl darting like a busy young fish through the water st the school gym.

But. even her mother's disap- proval couldnit keep Valarie from the pool. she could shut her eyes at any minute and recapture the feel of the water as it closed around her. 'Sha could hardly speak for joy when she got her first glimpse of the great shining pool at Wide Acres. I Valerie. Mark and Lucy swam every day, even when it. rained.
