Yesterday morning at 9.30 Ben Conrad and Vic Saunders teed oif for the first 18 holes of the cham- pionship. The course is in very good condition and the play during the round at times was pretty close, but at the 18th hole Conrad was three up. The other 18 holes played in the afternoon resulted in s. tie. Both golfers then teed off at the first hole, Conrad winning by a close margin. Ben is now Island golf champion for 1932.
