At the City Hospital before dawn! first light on September 22nd, Wallace B. McNelll of Ver non River in the afternoon o! his life answered the call of his Hea- venly Creator. Born at Vernon River where he had lived his en- tire life, his home was always l1 haven of rest for all who entered and where his conduct was always the symbol of hospitality.

The late Mr. Macrreill was a man or exceptionally fine physique and appearance. During his younger days he took an intensely active interest. in all community affairs particularly in the Conservative Party, the Scottish gathering mid games where the proud Tartan was ever conspicuous on his mai- estic figure.

The lste Mr. MeNeill was oi pure Highland Scottish lineage. his father being the late Rodrick Mc- Neill and his mother Catherine Ann Campbell. After his father's death, the late Wallace B, Mc-
