Greetings, Big Dogs;
The Mardi Gras weekend proved to be Mar- ian Hall’s chance to do some se- rious unwinding, after indulging in the numerous activities that have taken place thus far in the semester. Many Hallers took ad- vantage of the lull to go home (to some real food!), while a few of the more stubborn partyers took off for Halifax; This reporter won- ders whether a certain Newf (or rather, his stomach) managed to retain his dinner during the Cari- bou crossing.
Late last week, the residents of the Hall got first-hand experi- ence of how foolish some people can be while under the influence. We were surprised that there was yet another individual who lost a little leg hair to a stupid bet (You
KNEW that you couldn’t win, Scott). Word has it that both he and the other luckless gam- bler will be checking the fashions in Bernadine for a while. It’s at least for certain that he won’t be playing Caps for a while.
Last week, we speculated on the possible effects that a quart would have on someone with an allergy to alcohol. Since Tigger was bounced to QEH last week- end and was returned to us the next day with electrodes stuck to his chest, we speculate no more

Tequila Sunrise
An excellent movie which combines romance, action, and suspense into an interesting plot with unexpected twists and turns.
What happens when you mix two men (who happen to
be friends) with one attractive woman? You get trouble no mat- ter how you look at it, but when one man is a cop and the other a drug dealer, the fun really begins. Tequila Sunrise features Mel Gibson, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Russell Stewart. I give it four out of five panther paws. A movie as good as the critics said it was.!
The Burbs
You might think you have strange neighbours but they can’t be anything compared to those in The Burbs. What would you do if you lived beside someone who only came out at night , and when they did they engaged in very sus- picious activities (such as digging in their backyard — not in the garden either)? What would you do when one of your neighbours suddenly disappears for no rea- son? If you’re Tom Hanks then you don’t just sit back and won- der, you take action!
Hanks, together with his other neighbours hilariously in- vestigate this disappearance by breaking into their neighbours house. To find out what happens next why not rent The Burbs, it’ll keep you laughing for hours! The
rapher is murdered for what he has seen, but before they mur- der him he manages to hide his film somewhere they will not find it. Many years later his son helps to expose some of the govern- ment’s best kept secrets by find- ing this film. This movie is full of suspense and action as the government is prepared to keep this film from the public at any cost. Ground Zero is an excel- lent movie which is based on true facts. I give it three out of five panther paws.
