The steamer Oceanic which arrived at San Francisco from China last week, re ports that the Douglass Company's steamer Namoa, which left Hong Kong on Dee 10 for Swartou, with four European passen gergand 250 Chinese passengers was taken possession of by pirates when 45 miles from Hong Kong.

The pirates were armed with revolvers, which they concealed while coming on beard.
