He has served in England France, Italy, Sicily, Corsica, and wear; the African Star for ser- vice in Africa. Flt-Lt. Reid en- listed in the Air Force in April, 1941. and r n his commission following September. Going overseas 1r.- October. 1941, he spent a year in England before being sent to the Middle East. Return- ing from there after having seen considerable action, he spciit some time on active service along the Riviera in Southern France where he had an opportunity of visiting Monte Carlo. Arriving in Canada, his first stop was at the "repat" pool in Lachine, P. Q. Frcm tliei-c he came direcfly hcmc. being met at Moncwn by his wife, the former Thelma Ding- well of Morell. After a well-earned leave. Flt-Lt. Reid expects to be sted to instruction work in Canada.

Congratulations were extended to the bridal party. after which the guests sat down to a sumptuous wedding dinner. 8T. PETEIIBB CATHEDRAL-The adjourned annual meeting of the congregation of St. Peter's Cathed- ral was held on January 29th in the Parish Hall. There was a much larger attendance than usual and after the meeting refreshments were served by the Ladies Guild. Various committees presented rc~ ports of their activities during the lutlon of appreciation and sympathy was extended to Miss Lily Fairclough for the great service rendered by her to the church and hopes were expressed for her speedy recovery. The meet- ing was then adjourned to meet on the second Monday in April. at which time certain committees will report on plans for organization and improvement.
