B., Aprils. 1894.—Few men gre better known to the travelling public in the provinces than officer John Collins the courteous and obliging giant who with officer Stevens preserves order and gives information to puzzled travellers at the J. C. R. depet in St. John. Hie friends will be interested to Jearn that of- ticer Collins some time since effected an ar- rest which has baffled him for twelve years, The story is best told in a letter which he wrote to the Hawker Medicine Co., and which is as follows: —
